The Best Courses
We play traditional member’s clubs. Many are in The UK Top 100, Ryder Cup venues or have held Open qualifiers. We keep the programme fresh by introducing new courses each year
About us
The CILT (UK) Golf Society provides golfing members of the Institute an opportunity to foster professional, business and sporting contacts.
The present membership list reads like a ‘who’s who’ of transport & logistics professionals. Our meetings offer an excellent opportunity for Institute members and past members to play golf and network together. Several of our members have joined the Institute in order to join the Golf Society and that link with the Institute has remained strong, taking us through the mergers which led to the formation of the CILT(UK) in 1999.
Sponsors too appreciate the opportunity to publicise their business both to members through the Logistics & Transport Focus magazine and via this web site and, by supporting our meetings, help us to offer attractive member discounts.
Our meetings are primarily played at good quality traditional members’ clubs, including Hankley Common, Copt Heath & Northampton & County together with a series of matches and an end of season tour. This year we plan to visit Yorkshire to play Moortown, Kirkbymoorside & Ganton Golf Clubs. This variety adds a different dimension to normal society golf with fresh new venues added every year. I am particularly looking forward, this year, to our match against the Liberal Circle which will be played at my home course.

Chairman’s Review of the Year 2020
Compared to many others, I think we did well to be able to hold some events during a year dominated by coronavirus. The number of attendees demonstrated an eagerness to get back to playing golf and to meeting our GS chums! We also [...]
