Sadly, it will come as no surprise to you to be told that we have decided to cancel the forthcoming Member’s Meeting and AGM scheduled for 15 Apr.  Like many clubs, BGC has offered the golf course but little else. As a Golf Society we cannot expect members to travel some distance just for a round of golf and a brief chat outside (weather permitting).  We thought about a postponement but our programme is quite full so I’ve cancelled the meeting and carried over the deposit and booking to Tuesday 13 Apr 2021.  Those who’ve sent in payments may either have a full refund or carry over their credit to another event later this year – please email to Chris Sturman to let him know your wishes.

At the moment, our booking for the Spring Meeting at Hankley Common GC for Tue 12 May still stands (as do all bookings for later in the year) but we will have to see how the virus develops in the coming weeks.  Some clubs are coming up with innovative ideas to try to retain society and visitor bookings but we can only wait and hope.  We will fit in a brief AGM whenever we next meet.
